Forever Young!

SSE’s was honored to celebrate with Shawnya and John at their wedding celebration…an event twenty years in the making!  The beautiful bride arrived early in the day to prepare.  Her creativity was apparent in all the details, including a beautiful backdrop, colorful centerpieces, and personal touches throughout the room.  The ceremony processional included individual songs for the wedding party, including a very special moment when Captain played Shawnya down the aisle on his acoustic guitar.  Briana and the event team at Roma Lodge did a fantastic job keeping everyone happy and satisfied with excellent service and a delicious family-style dinner.  Guests had a great time on the dance floor, fun fellowship at the bar, and plenty of tasty treats including a late-night pizza buffet!  Big thanks to Samantha, Vinnie, Shantay, Captain, and everyone who worked hard to make everything come together for an unforgettable night.  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Young!

No Matter Where You Are!

The Rustic Barn by 1841 in Burlington was the site of Olivia and Christian’s beautiful wedding ceremony and reception!  The weather was absolutely perfect for their outdoor ceremony, surrounded by green cornfields and a giant willow tree.  Our newlyweds wrote their own vows and shared plenty of happy tears and laughs with the intimate gathering in attendance.  Cocktail hour in the barn was lively as the wedding party took pictures and prepared all the fun to come.  The grand march led to a fantastic dinner on the adjacent patio, before moving back inside for first dances and a celebration that rocked all night long.  Big thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with the new Mr. & Mrs. Brenner!  Congrats!

Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen!

Stella’s Casa Capri in Kenosha hosted an exciting Sweet Sixteen party for Bri, and SSE had a blast celebrating with them!  Dan, Monica, and the family did a fantastic job with decorations, and the crew at Casa Capri prepared a delicious buffet dinner for everyone to enjoy.  We danced the night away and celebrated in style!  Congrats to the guest of honor, we’re so glad you had a great night!

Like Real People Do!

Claire and Zachariah celebrated their big day at The Covenant at Murray Mansion, and SSE was thrilled to be a part of it!  We had a chance to meet the happy couple at Culinary Infusion’s menu tasting several months ago.  Since then, we’ve been collaborating together and making plans for their epic celebration!  Officiant Mike Olson did a fantastic job leading the service filled with faith, love, and so many special moments.  Guests enjoyed custom beverages and a delicious charcuterie spread during the cocktail hour in Murray Mansion.  When everyone made their way back to the Covenant for dinner service, the celebration space was transformed for the festivities to come.  Toasts from the wedding party were heartfelt and memorable, including a very special presentation from Claire’s Dad, Dan. Dan’s surprises kept coming during a choreographed Father/Daughter dance which brought the house down!  We filled the dance floor with songs from every genre, and guests cooled off with ice cream treats later in the night.  As the event wrapped up, we sent off the newlyweds with an unforgettable sparkler exit!  Big thanks to Maddie, Hannah, Keith, Steve, Nick, Eli, Isabelle, and the entire crew from The Covenant for an unforgettable night.  Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Kline!

Tangled Up In You!

For the first time in several months, SSE returned to Circa on Seventh to celebrate Jennifer and Kevin’s fantastic wedding celebration!  The weather was beautiful as family and friends arrived to witness their ceremony on a sunny Saturday afternoon in downtown Kenosha.  Following the vows, guests enjoyed passed appetizers and signature cocktails named after our bride and groom’s pups, Luca and Riley!  We fired up some vintage Rat Pack tunes during dinner, and before long it was time to dance the night away.  Big thanks to Katie, Kayla, the entire event team, and everyone who came out to celebrate with the new Mr. & Mrs. Duban!  Congratulations!

The Only Exception!

The Club at Strawberry Creek in Kenosha County was the beautiful site for Natalie and Anthony’s wedding ceremony and celebration!  The outdoor service went off without a hitch, and the photography team took advantage of the picturesque surroundings while guests made their way inside for cocktails and appetizers.  The wedding party kicked things off with an energetic grand march, and Best Man Patrick and Matron of Honor Elizabeth impressed everyone with their fantastic toasts.  SSE uplighting provided an extra touch of atmosphere in the room, especially when the sun went down and and the celebration kicked into high gear!  Natalie and Anthony’s song request list was fantastic and covered all generations and genres – the dance floor was packed with excitement all night long.  Big thanks to everyone who came out to came out to celebrate and give their best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. Romano!  Congrats!
