Drinksgiving 2019!

For the second consecutive year, SSE kicked off Thanksgiving weekend with our friends at R’Noggin Brewing Co.!  The 2019 version of “Drinksgiving” brought out a huge crowd of family and friends who were ready to start the holidays in style.  Taking advantage of the great specials, guests filled up their growlers for the family celebrations to come.  We had a blast spinning tunes, greeting the crew, and sharing laughs!  Big thanks to the brewers and staff at R’Noggin, and everyone who came out to raise a glass of cheer!

You Make My Dreams Come True!

SSE returned to The Covenant at Murray Mansion to celebrate Andrew & Ellen’s big day!  We were excited to perform at this awesome venue two nights in a row, and we sure had a great time with this sweet couple.  Not only did a string quartet lend their musical talents to the lovely ceremony, they played in Murray Mansion for the cocktail hour as well!  When guests returned to The Covenant for dinner, we set the pace with an exciting grand march introduction, followed by some very moving speeches from the wedding party.  As always, the plated dinner service was superb – what an amazing feast!  A special video presentation gave everyone a chance to relax and reminisce, and was the perfect segue into the first dance of the evening.  Big thanks to the entire crew at The Covenant for a weekend filled with amazing moments and memories.  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. B.!

Every Rose Has Its Thorne!

Love was in the air for Collin & Stephanie’s wonderful wedding celebration!  The Covenant at Murray Mansion in Racine hosted the festivities on a beautiful Friday afternoon.  Pastor Dan Remus from Journey Church lead the personal and heartfelt ceremony – it’s always a pleasure to hear his message!  Following the vows, guests made their way into historic Murray Mansion for cocktails, appetizers, and fellowship.  The grand march introductions kicked off the next portion of our evening, and set the tone for the fun to come!  Culinary Infusion’s delicious dinner buffet is always superb, and tonight was no exception!  Before long, it was time to kick up our heels on the dance floor, and we had an absolute blast celebrating with this great group of people.  Big thanks to Keith, Kathy, Hannah, Lexie, and the entire staff at The Covenant for another spectacular event.  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Thorne!

Here’s To Us!

The DeKoven Center in Racine was the location of Eric & Kailey’s wonderful wedding celebration!  Our bridal party started things off early in the day, taking pictures all over the campus of this historic facility.  Later in the afternoon, guests filed into St. John’s Chapel for the ceremony which was officiated by the Father of the Groom!  After the vows, we moved to The Great Hall for cocktails and fellowship.  The staff from Catering by Chef John did an excellent job with dinner service, and we had a blast hosting “Newlywed Shoe” game with our happy couple!  The dance floor was filled from the first song to the last – this great group of people had some fun!  Big thanks to Sheila, Jenna, Bill, and everyone who came out to give their best wishes to Eric & Kailey.  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. P.!

SSE’s 2019 Fall Tour continued with Zach & Melissa’s beautiful wedding celebration!  The Covenant at Murray Mansion in Racine was the site of all the festivities.  The wedding party began their day in Murray Mansion, enjoying the atmosphere, ambiance - and a delicious brunch!  As the day continued, all of the planning and preparation came together for their afternoon ceremony.  A guitarist and pianist added the perfect musical accompaniment for the nuptials.  Following an exciting grand march and speeches from the Best Man and Maid of Honor, guests settled in for the excellent plated dinner service from Culinary Infusion.  We had a blast with this group – they kicked it up on the dance floor and had a great time!  Big thanks to Lexie, Keith, and the entire crew at The Covenant for another job well done.  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. K.!

A Whole New World!

SSE was excited to return to The Club at Strawberry Creek for Cory & Cristy’s big day!  Our bride and groom met while pursing their shared love of travel and adventure.  On a special trip to Greece, Cory popped the question and began the journey to this epic celebration!  Cristy’s brother did an amazing job officiating the lovely ceremony in front of the clubhouse fireplace.  Following the vows, guests made their way into the ballroom for cocktails and fellowship.  We decked out the room with purple lighting, and really loved the atmosphere of the entire event.  Members of the wedding party treated us to two musical performances, and the Father of the Bride brought the house down with a surprise mash-up dance!  We’d like to thank the entire staff at Strawberry Creek for their hard work and professionalism – it’s always a treat to perform at this great venue.  Big congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. L.!
