Holiday of Hope!

SSE was honored to participate in the Holiday of Hope event at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, IL!  Blustery winter winds sent temperatures into the single digits, but we bundled up and played some great tunes right outside the main entrance.  Guests started by caroling in the lobby with pianist Lina Schaal and special Cancer Fighter guest performers.  Afterwards, everyone headed outside to see the amazing Tree of Hope lighting by Cancer Fighter Jose Santos.  Finally, we all loaded up into Santa’s shuttle and visited the historic Shiloh House for a tour, holiday treats, and additional musical performances.  Thank you all the patients, family members, stakeholders, and guests who came out to enjoy this wonderful holiday event!

Take My Name!

The Covenant at Murray Mansion was the site of Keith & Brianna’s amazing wedding celebration!  An unseasonably early round of snow made it’s way into the area over the weekend, but we kept things nice and toasty inside with a busy day of festivities!  It was a real treat meeting with Keith and Bri the week before their celebration.  Although we already had the majority of their day planned, it always helps to meet face-to-face and put the finishing touches on everything!  Friend of the couple Stephanie did a fantastic job leading the ceremony.  It was hard to believe it was only her first time officiating, she was a true pro and added a special and personal touch to their nuptials!  As part of the recessional, our new bride and groom greeted their guests as they walked back down the aisle, as they dismissed themselves to historic Murray Mansion for cocktail hour.  Grand March introductions were a special highlight of the night, including scripted entrances for each couple…with a few unique surprises along the way!  As usual, the Culinary Infusion team knocked it out of the park with their delicious meal and excellent service.  Big thanks to Andrew Meier Photography, Keith, Kathy, Sydney, and everyone who came out to give their best wishes to the newlyweds, and keep the dance floor packed all night long.  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. C.!

Can’t Help Falling In Love!

It was an absolutely beautiful celebration for Pam & Ted at Circa on Seventh in Kenosha!  You know that things are running smoothly when you’re ahead of schedule all day long, and today’s event was certainly an example of that!  Katie and the crew from Culinary Infusion made sure all of the details came together perfectly, giving us plenty of time to party on the dance floor later in the night!  Friend of the couple Nick did great job officiating the ceremony, with plenty of laughs and special moments along the way.  Following the service, guests enjoyed cocktails and fellowship while the space was prepared for the festivities to come.  Kayla and Elisha made sure everyone was well taken care of at the bar, while Steve and Nick were busy putting the finishing touches on our amazing feast.  We were very pleased to see a full dance floor all night long, everyone had a blast!  Big congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Campbell!

I Get To Love You!

SSE returned to The Landing at 1841 Farms and Vineyard for Kurt and Jennifer’s beautiful wedding celebration!  It was a blustery autumn day in Burlington, but guests stayed nice and cozy enjoying refreshing cocktails and delicious appetizers from the crew at All Occasions Catering.  Following the extended cocktail hour, we made our way into the Grand Room for a delicious dinner!  After cake cutting and speeches, Uncle Kelly kicked things off with a very special blessing.  Matt Mason Photography put together an amazing slide show presentation after the meal – it was spectacular!  We headed back to the River View Room to continue with first dances, an anniversary dance, and plenty of fun tunes to keep everyone entertained all night long.  Big thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with the newlyweds – congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Z.!
