We’ve Got Tonight!

Travis & Jen were married in a beautiful beachside ceremony in Mexico in early June.  They returned home to Wisconsin for a huge wedding celebration with over 300 family & friends!  The Parkway Chateau in Kenosha was the site of all the fun, and we were packed to the rafters!  Guests enjoyed a continuous slideshow during the cocktail hour, highlighting all the sights of the destination ceremony.  After a delicious buffet dinner, we heard some touching words from the groomsmen, bridesmaids, and the bride & groom as well!  The dance floor was packed until midnight, and everyone had a great time.  SSE was excited to help put together the audio presentation for the ceremony & dance in Mexico.  Although we couldn’t be there in person, it was a real treat to know that some of our personal touches helped Travis & Jen celebrate over 1500 miles away!  Big congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Van Tine!

With You Around!

SSE was honored to celebrate with Dan & Lisa at their magical wedding reception!  Our bride & groom’s mutual love of the Harry Potter and Doctor Who franchises were evident all evening long.  Hand-crafted centerpieces and decorations adorned the reception hall, and added an extra special touch!  Following a delicious dinner, we cut loose on the dance floor, and created some amazing memories – including a special surprise during the Father/Daughter dance!  Big thanks to Steve and his crew at the Italian American Society of Kenosha for their hard work and hustle. Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. L.!  Allons-y!

The 6th Annual Believers & Achievers Gala!

Once again, SSE was honored to be chosen as Master of Ceremonies for the Believers & Achievers Gala with The Arc of Racine County!  Their mission statement says it best:  “The Arc of Racine advocates for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by safeguarding their rights, facilitating choice, and promoting independence and inclusion in school and community life.”  A brand new class of Achievers received their moment in the spotlight, and we celebrated with a wonderful dinner, fundraisers, and fun on the dance floor!  Thank you to everyone  who came out to show their support, as we “Believe & Achieve!”

Blame It On The Boogie!

SSE returned to the Harbor Lite Yacht Club in Racine for a funky, 70’s-themed Disco Night!  SSE Alumni Jennifer organized a night of fun for her co-workers and friends, and we were excited to be a part of it!  After cocktails and appetizers, we had a blast on the dance floor, and boogied on down!  We closed the night out with some fantastic raffle prizes, and everyone went home a winner.  Big thanks to Jennifer and everyone at HYLC for a groovy-good time.  Can you dig it man?  I knew you could!

There’s No Place Like Hope!

For the 18^th consecutive year, SSE was honored to serve as DJ & MC for the Relay For Life of Racine!  This year’s theme took inspiration from The Wizard of Oz, and participants really got into the spirit of things!  Racine County’s 24^th Annual Relay was a great success, as we teamed up with corporate leaders, survivors, caregivers, and advocates to further the cause of the American Cancer Society.  Events like Relay remind us why we can never stop raising funds and fighting back against cancer!  Special thanks to all of the volunteers and participants for their fundraising efforts, and the Event Leadership Team who work hard all year to make the Racine Relay a success.  “Follow the Purple Brick Road…There’s No Place Like Hope!”
