The Book Of Love!

SSE was thrilled to celebrate with Joshua & Kendra at the Italian American Society of Kenosha!  We arrived early in the afternoon to get everything prepared in the main dining hall.  Following a rousing grand march introduction, guests settled for some words of wisdom from family and friends.  It was a blast running into so many familiar faces, and making friends with some new ones as well!  As usual, Amy from Bailey Snap-Shots did an amazing job with pictures, and the entire staff at the Italian American made sure all the guests were well fed and happy.  Special thanks to the parents of the bride and groom, Pastor Steven & Nichole and Thomas & Ann – very proud, indeed!  Congrats and best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. B!

Could You Be Loved!

Kevon & Jessica celebrated their marriage with a beautiful boutique reception at Circa on Seventh!  SSE was honored to be part of the special package they chose with our friends from Culinary Infusion.  The bride and her best girls enjoyed getting prepared in the bridal suite, while the groom and his crew relaxed in the side salon.  Officiant Michael Mendoza did a fantastic job leading the ceremony, and it was a real treat getting to work with photographer Dan Valdez.  Keith, Steve, and the entire kitchen staff knocked it out of the park with an amazing dinner, and Sam and Evelyn kept everyone refreshed and happy at the bar.  Huge thanks to Kelsey and everyone for their hard work and hustle!  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. C.!

La Vie En Rose!

Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, the historic Kemper Center in Kenosha was the site of Nicholas and Susana’s lovely wedding celebration!  Plans came together quickly with this amazing couple, and SSE was honored to help them celebrate their big day.  The reception spanned three conjoined rooms on the Study Hall floor of the Kemper Center.  Aaron and the hospitality crew did a fantastic job with their hard work and attention to detail!  It was a multi-cultural affair, with plenty of Greek and Spanish influences on the request list…and on the dance floor!  Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. K.!

Boundless Love!

Alex and Sarah celebrated the affirmation of their wedding vows, and SSE was there for all of the festivities!  The Stella Hotel and Ballroom in downtown Kenosha was the site of the ceremony, dinner, and reception.  Pastor Alex Groth led the service, accompanied by Aleesha, Jenna, and Jada on instruments and vocals.  After the nuptials, everyone enjoyed photo ops and fellowship during the cocktail hour.  Stephanie and Josh did a fantastic job with their speeches, which preceded a delicious buffet dinner from The Stella.  This evening's celebration was a long time in the making!  The events of the past year forced this sweet couple to reschedule their event two different times, but the third time was definitely the charm.  Big congrats to Mr. & Mrs. S!

Enchanted Forest!

It was a historic night for the Junior and Senior classes of Shoreland Lutheran High School!  Prom Night created an amazing number of special moments, and we trust it was well worth the wait! After the pandemic caused last year’s prom to be cancelled completely, this great group of students were primed and ready to make this night unforgettable.  The theme of “Enchanted Forest” set the mood, as our guests of honor arrived to enjoy photo opportunities and fellowship before the big promenade entrance.  Custom introductions from Mr. Strutz got everyone fired up and ready for the fun to come!  The Senior tribute video was filled with laughs and happy tears, and was the perfect way to continue this fun event.  Following a delicious dinner from the crew at Roma Lodge, it was time to pack the floor and dance the night away!  Big thanks to the parent and student volunteers who worked very hard to make this night come together.  Congrats to the Class of 2021!
