You Make My Dreams Come True!

Veterans Terrace in Burlington was the location of Marisa & Kyle’s lovely wedding affirmation and celebration!  We had the opportunity to set up three independent sound systems for the multi-site festivities.  The afternoon began with the beautiful outdoor ceremony.  It was a pleasure to hear so many guests lifting up their voices in worship and thanks!  After the vows, we made our way into the main ballroom for cocktails and fellowship.  Grand March introductions were incredibly fun, and the speeches and toasts from the family and wedding party were heartfelt and memorable. Once dinner concluded, Marisa & Kyle shared a special first dance on Memorial Terrace as we all looked on from the balcony.  From there, it was time to head back inside and dance the night away!  Big thanks to the staff and management at Veterans Terrace, the catering team from Charcoal Grill, our good friends at Corrina Nicole Photography, and everyone who came out to celebrate with the happy couple!  Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Heise!

Do You Believe In Magic?

SSE was honored to be a part of Cassidee & Logan’s boutique daytime wedding celebration at Circa on Seventh in Kenosha.  Not only were we celebrating our bride and groom’s big day, but also Logan’s birthday and Mother’s Day as well!  Guests arrived just before 10am to witness their beautiful ceremony.  Cassidee’s entrance down the staircase was breathtaking, and Jeff did a great job presenting the faith-centered message.  After the vows, guests enjoyed morning mimosas and specialty cocktails as well as delicious appetizers.  Steve and Nick prepared an amazing brunch, and Maddie did a fantastic job staging the donut dessert buffet!  We continued the fun into the afternoon out on the dance floor, including a special last dance just for the newlyweds.  Big thanks to Katie and the entire crew at Circa on Seventh for another awesome event!  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Thorne!

A Night Around The World!

The Junior and Senior classes of Shoreland Lutheran High School took flight at Roma Lodge for “A Night Around The World” at Prom 2023!  The sun and warm weather arrived just in time for outdoor pictures.  The amazing photo ops continued inside with the amazing backdrops from our parent volunteers which lit up the room.  Promenade introductions are always a fun way to celebrate the students and get the night kicked off in style!  For the second consecutive year, Missy did a stellar job with the Senior tribute video, as both parents and students reflected on the last four years of their high school experience.  After a prayer of thanks from President Scriver, the crew at Roma Lodge provided a delicious family-style feast or everyone to enjoy.  We’ve had the pleasure of celebrating at Shoreland’s Prom for many years, and we cannot remember the dance floor filled with so much energy!  SSE is very proud of all the students – this is definitely a night we’ll never forget.  Big congrats to the Class of 2023!

Kiss Me!

The Stella Hotel & Ballroom in downtown Kenosha was the site of Jim & Adriana’s beautiful wedding ceremony and reception!  We arrived early in the day to prepare for the 3PM service.  Adriana’s father had the honor of officiating the ceremony and did an amazing job!  Following the service, guests took advantage of some free time to check into their hotel rooms or enjoy a cocktail at 1844 Table & Mash on the first floor.  Grand March introductions were so much fun and set the tone for the excitement to come!  Adriana & Jim’s entire vendor team was excellent, we all worked together to make sure everyone experienced an unforgettable celebration.  Big thanks to Dameon and the entire team at The Stella, and all the family and friends who came to give their best wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. McDermott!

Let The Good Times Roll!

The Relay for Life of Racine held their first-ever Casino Night fundraiser, and SSE was there for all the fun!  Guests made their way to Fountain Banquet Hall in Sturtevant to try their luck at the tables, all while supporting a great cause. The festivities kicked off with an invitational poker tournament, followed by roulette, blackjack, and craps.  The dealers were very informative, and helped players rack up their points for the raffle drawings later in the night!  The food and refreshments from Fountain Banquet Hall were top notch, and gave everyone the energy to keep playing all night long.  Big thanks to Fuzz, the entire Event Leadership Team, and everyone who came out for a very enjoyable evening.  The Relay For Life of Racine appreciates you all!
