2023 Spring Tasting Event!

SSE teamed up with our friends at Culinary Infusion for their annual Spring Tasting Event at Upper East in Downtown Kenosha!  The weather was perfect on a beautiful, sunny Saturday.  Over 60 couples came dressed in their springtime best to sample hors d’oeuvres, salads, side dishes, entrees, and custom cocktails in anticipation of their upcoming wedding celebrations!  Attendees got to spend time with the culinary team, venue directors and associate planners and ask some great questions while sampling the delicious food.  Following vendor visits and some sweet treats from the ice cream cart, couples had the chance to win some awesome upgrades to their package with some fun giveaways.  Thanks to our fellow vendors at Top Choice Rentals, Mayfield Flowers, The Lettering Machine, Kdornbier Illustrations, Mikaila Dusenberry Photography, Dish & Décor Vintage Rentals, and Tavern On Sixth.  The Culinary Infusion team was outstanding!  Big thanks to Keith, Kathy, Hanni, Steve, Nick, Riley, Elisha, Kayla, Kaycee, Kelsey, Hannah, Madison, Maddie, Sydney Katie, and the entire staff for an amazing event.  Oh Happy Day!

Bridal Resale Event!

Just a few short hours after our last show ended, we were back on the road and headed for the 3^rd Annual Bridal Resale Event at The Covenant at Murray Mansion!  Excited guests had a chance to visit with vendors and check out all of the beautiful wedding décor for sale.  VIP entrants had access to the event 30 minutes early and were able to beat the rush!  We had a great time catching up with SSE alumni, chatting with future clients and fellow vendors, and playing great tunes for excited couples.  Big thanks to Hannah, Keith, Kathy, and everyone who joined us for another great day at The Covenant!

A Grand Celebration!

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva was the site of Horizon Retail Construction Inc.'s annual Holiday Celebration!  Although there were some heavy snow showers in the area throughout the day, everyone arrived safe and sound for an unforgettable night of fun.  The evening kicked off with plenty of time for fellowship as guests sipped on signature cocktails and watched a special video presentation.  Next up, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner buffet and delicious dessert.  Wisconsin Photo Booth Company provided plenty of entertaining photo ops, while our friends at Andrew Meier Photography captured all the excitement out on the floor.  Our extended dance party went all the way until 2 A.M. - this awesome crew brought the energy all night long!  Big thanks to Courtney, Andrew, Annemarie, Colleen, Zach, Brad, and all the great employees from Horizon Retail Construction, Inc.  Congrats on another successful year, it was a pleasure to celebrate with you!

Better Together!

It was a whirlwind weekend with Abby & Jared at The Covenant at Murray Mansion and SSE was there from beginning to end!  We kicked things off on Friday with their super-sized wedding party and a very productive rehearsal.  The festivities continued on Saturday with a beautiful ceremony which we were honored to officiate.  Violinist Ashley Rewolinski provided amazing live music, and Jared’s Godparents Sam & Kathy and Abby’s cousin Keith shared their special messages and readings from scripture.  After the vows, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers in historic Murray Mansion, while the Culinary Infusion crew prepared The Covenant for dinner service.  Matrons of Honor Allison & Kate, Best Man Cullen, and Father of the Bride Kenny all gave funny, heartfelt, fantastic speeches.  Before long, it was time to invite everyone out onto the dance floor and celebrate!  The lights were shining bright all night long, and everyone had a blast with the newlyweds!  Big thanks to Kenny & Patty, Jim & Karla, Hanni, Hannah, Keith & Kaycee, Buttercup Bouquets, and guests who travelled from across to country to be a part of Abby & Jared’s big day.  Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. J.!

Ode To Joy!

Excitement was in the air as SSE kicked off another year of fun at Cory & Deanna’s elopement ceremony in Kenosha!  An intimate gathering of 25 guests greeted the beautiful bride as she made her way down the staircase at Circa on Seventh.  Cory and Deanna helped to tell their unique love story during the service, and there were plenty of laughs and great memories shared by everyone in attendance.  Following their vows, the wedding party and guests enjoyed champagne and hors d’oeuvre service before the bride and groom hopped a plane and headed to Nashville later in the afternoon!  Big thanks to Katie, Sydney, & Steve for their hard work and assistance, and big congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Snyder!

New Year’s Eve Celebration!

SSE rang in the New Year in high style at The Stella Hotel & Ballroom in downtown Kenosha!  Our final show of 2022 was the perfect way to cap off another year of fun.  Over 180 guests enjoyed cocktails and passed appetizers before settling in for a three-course plated feast. Following dinner, it was time to kick up our heels and dance the night away!  When the clock struck midnight, we all shared a champagne toast, and kept the dance floor full until 1 A.M.  It was a treat working with The Stella for our second consecutive New Year’s Celebration, and we look forward to our continued partnership!  Big thanks to Dameon, Tiffany, the entire staff at The Stella Hotel & Ballroom, and especially all the guests who came out to celebrate.  Here’s to a happy and healthy 2023!
